Hello and welcome to Budapest’s only native English swim school!

My name is Liam and I am the founder of Budapest swim academy and moderator of the facebook page, Budapest swim Academy.

I am a fully qualified Swim England, and IOS (Institute of Swimming) level 2 swimming teacher specializing in teaching beginners from ages 4 years and up. I am also the resident swimming teacher at Britannica international school Budapest. I teach all ages and abilities and my lessons are always kept fun with a relaxing atmosphere. I have been teaching Swimming for over 10 years and I find it so rewarding! During my career, I have taught in England, Spain and Hungary where I have helped hundreds of children (and lot’s of adults) to learn how to swim as well as perfecting already established skills in all 4 swimming techniques. I believe that everyone, everywhere should have the right to be able to learn how to swim and have fun in the water. Swimming is a great way to stay active and healthy while also learning a life skill that could save lives.

I offer group lessons for children which I run at Britannica school Budapest. More about our lesson times can be found in the “Lesson times” section.

If you have access to a private pool or if you own your own pool, I can also provide private one to one lessons where I will bring all of my equipment to you and run a fun filled and educational lesson for your children!
